But did you know that February is also Children’s Dental Health Month? Well, it is!
We could talk about all of the ways to prevent dental decay, how to properly brush your kids’ teeth, good dental habits, etc. But we’ve done that in past blog posts. This time around, we wanted to know what some of our patients had to say about those things, so we decided that we would reach out to our youngest patients and their parents to see what they have to say about what they like about visiting the dentist and the importance of dental health.
THE CDC REPORTS that 1 in 5 children (between ages 5 and 11) in the US have untreated tooth decay. Not only should tooth decay be treated in regular dental appointments, it should be prevented! Tooth decay is 100 percent preventable with effective personal care and regular dental cleanings.
