It’s our mission to create a family dental practice that makes the dreams come true for our patients, team, and myself.

Our Staff

Becky McVey
Becky is the office manager for Dr. McVey, and she is also his wife. Becky has studied with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation in all aspects of caring for our conscious sedation patients. By training, Becky is a teacher, but she has been Dr. McVey’s office manager since 1988.
Becky and Dr. McVey have four children and four grandchildren. Becky spends time with her grandchildren every chance she gets. Besides working in the office, Becky is active in the Presbyterian Church. She enjoys traveling and reading a good book.
Gaby
Gaby is a caring and dependable part of Dr. McVey’s Dental Office team, assisting patients in the mornings and welcoming them with a smile at the front desk in the afternoons. Her friendly nature helps create a comfortable and positive experience for everyone she meets. Outside the office, Gaby is a proud mom of four girls and can often be found cheering them on at soccer games—her favorite way to spend the weekend.

Alejandra
I joined Dr. McVey’s team in 2024 after graduating from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. I’m passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles and love educating them on how small habits can make a big difference in oral health.
When I’m not in the office, I’m usually spending time with family or out camping and exploring new trails with my fiancé. We’re always chasing fresh air, good views, and our next great adventure.
Emelia
Emelia has worked for Dr. McVey since Aug. 2010. She has 20 years of experience in the dental field. Emelia enjoys dentistry because it gives her a chance to help people and to also make a difference in their lives. She has several hours of continuing education in implant surgery, aesthetics dentistry and has participated in the Kansas Mission of Mercy. She was born and raised here in Garden City. Emelia is married with three children. In her spare time she enjoys shopping with her daughter, golfing with her boys, and date nights with her husband. Emelia can’t wait to meet you and ensure your visit is relaxing and enjoyable!

Emily
Emily has been a part of Dr. McVey’s team as a Registered Dental Hygienist since January 2013. She graduated in May 2012 from Manhattan Area Technical College, where she earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys building relationships with her patients, providing very thorough care for them, and educating them on the importance of their overall oral health!
Emily and her husband, Ryan, have two fun and energetic boys, Jaxon and Jagger. Don’t be surprised when she talks about her family, including her dog, Dixie, and her cat, Rougie. Her faith, her family, iced coffees, and Texas Rangers baseball – That’s her in a nutshell!
She looks forward to seeing you, and she is committed to making your hygiene appointment a comfortable and positive experience!

Randall K. McVey, DMD, FAGD
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University in 1979 with a B.S. in Biology, and went on to earn my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Michael Cardone School of Dentistry at Oral Roberts University in 1983. For more than 20 years I have been honored to serve the dental health needs of southwest Kansas, helping thousands of patients improve their smiles, comfort, and confidence. I am a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD)—an award earned by completing more than 500 hours of advanced post-doctoral education and passing a comprehensive examination covering all areas of general dentistry. I am currently pursuing my Mastership in the Academy (MAGD) through the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry.
My continuing education includes postgraduate training through:
The L.D. Pankey Institute (Continuums I–IV and Esthetics)
The Kois Center (Graduate)
Leadership of a local dental study club
These programs are among the most highly respected in dentistry and allow me to provide patients with thoughtful, relationship-based, long-lasting care.
Service is a core part of my calling. I have participated in international dental missions in Mexico, Albania, and Uganda, as well as general missions in Mexico, Chile, and Malaysia. Locally, I have volunteered for Kansas Mission of Mercy and the Donated Dental Services program, offering care to patients with serious needs who have no other access to treatment.
Faith and community are central to my life. I remain active in Garden City Presbyterian Church, where I teach, serve on session and committees, sing in the choir, and play piano and guitar on the worship team.
My core values are integrity, compassion, respect, community, and service. I believe your health is ultimately your choice, and my role is to listen, educate, and guide you toward the best solutions for your long-term well-being.
You will always be treated with respect, honesty, and a commitment to excellence.
